Steve Bug, Oxia and Richie Hawtin are all signed under Cocoon, making it one of my choice labels. French artist Julian Jeweil is their latest coup. I have chosen to showcase the title track from his recent EP 'Color' (purchase here
) - its a real grower, synths slowly building into a crescendo before breaking into pulsing beats - techno pure & simple

My second choice is 'Daten Übertragungs Küsschen (Rodriguez Jr. Remix)
' - Dominik Eulberg. He has maintained his place as one of my favourite producers ever since i watched this video for Sansula - Rodriguez Jr. has done the original justice by maintaining its simplicity whilst tropic-izing it significantly with some funky blips on the offbeat nicely complemented by gentle steel drums - a really smooth bouncy track
